Everyone else has a web site, so I figured, why not us? I made this page
for the friends and family we hardly visit with. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we can't wait to eat some
Turkey. Well i (Amanda) dont really care for turkey, but i can't wait for some baked cookies, sweets, mashed potatos,
and stuffing. We will have Gabriela and Sean this year for Thanksgiving. I've had them every weekend this month
they get sad when its time to go home. John was working at the Hill Country Cook off this past weekend. So the
kids and i dropped him off and later went back. We spent about 5 hours with Sean's "God Parents". They had a booth,
selling baked goods. Sean was getting toys from Clyde and Gabby was getting brownies from Ashley. They both bought
the kids toys. Nana gave both the kids $5.00 each. Well needless to say miss Gabriela knows the meaning of
money. She wanted a cute little Hello Kitty purse that was $5 exact. She said "mom, can you pay for it with Johns
money because i want to save my money". Does she take after her mom on stashing her money or what?/? They
left their toys and money here with us. I looked in Gabriela's purse and saw she had an extra dollar. Well Johns
sister Michelle had given her a dollar earlier that day as well.
Well i still have my Mary Kay business. It is hard for right now because i dont have much clientel
but in time it will grow. I have been out looking for a part time job to help my hard working guy out. Hopefully
i will have some luck since the holidays are coming around. Today i applied at "Tommy Kids", i hope to hear something
pretty soon.
John is still working his full time job, off duty with Sac N Pac security, and other off duty security jobs.
We are committed to saving for our Boston Trip next year. I am excited and hope we make it up there.
John is excited as well, it will be his first time out of Texas, and his first time on an airplane. We hope to save
enough so we can be there for a while. He is planning on taking a week of vacation that week. We might not get
to stay the whole time he is on vacation but we will try depending on our budget. Hope there is some fun stuff to do.
He was asking me the other day what kind of stuff there was to do at that time. I told him the Duck Tour was something.
